Lawro & Mystic Mug Say Villa Win

So here we go again as the games come thick and fast!

This weekend is a tough home game against a very physical (albeit not totally without skill) Stoke City.

BBC pundit Lawro says 2-1 to Villa. His argument is 'Both sides are on a run of decent form. Stoke have improved their away form in the Premier League compared to last year but Villa are very much an in-form team at the moment. I think Stoke will set themselves up very deep and it will be interesting to see how Aston Villa, who I think are still primarily a counter-attacking team, cope with it. Saying that, I think they will create chances and I expect they will win.'

Lawro said a 1-1 v Man Utd last week and happily was wrong for all the right reasons as we won 1-0... did we mention that victory before?!

Mystic Mug says 3-1 to the Villa if the boys are on their game - which they will be.

Meanwhile Martin O'Neill has told The Official Site that he expects a tough game:

'Stoke have had no midweek game. But we go into the match on the back of two away performances - and two games we have won at tough venues in Old Trafford and the Stadium of Light. Now it's a case of resting up and getting prepared for this weekend physically. Mentally we will be right. Physically it will be very demanding - but that's the Premier League.'
