Player Of The Season So Far? +MOTM Results

Got a few polls to round up from the last week but first off, our latest poll, suggested by bobbyfett, asks who your player of the season so far is.

Surely one in the Villa ranks will win by a landslide?

Still, I don't want to influence a poll so I'll mention no names at all, that just wouldn't be right!

milner full back

:O)))

Our Sunderland man of the match result went to James Milner with 60% of the votes. Next up was Richard Dunne with 17% and the seemingly ever young Brad Friedel with 7%

Other results:

Petrov 6%
Heskey 2%
L. Young 2%
Cuellar 2%
Warnock 1%
Downing 1%
A. Young 1%
Agbonlahor 1%

Man of the match v Manchester United was a bit more evenly spread with Richard Dunne coming out the winner with 26% followed by Gabby Agbonlahor with 17%

The rest:

Petrov 14%
Warnock 12%
Friedel 7%
Cuellar 6%
Milner 4%
A.Young 3%
L.Young 3%
Downing 3%

Sub - Collins 1%
Sub - NRC 1%
Sub - Carew 1%

58% voted win in our win, lose or draw Man Utd prediction poll. 21% went for the annual loss option and the rest said a draw.

Finally, Doug4Ever asked: When did you start supporting the Villa?

1990's 28%
1980's 24%
1970's 19%
1960's 12%
1940's or before 6%

2000's 5%

interesting to see that in the last 2 games every player has received at least 1 vote for MoTM. Apart from the obvious outstanding individual performances, I guess it shows that all of them are playing well, and that the Villa are really playing like a team. Great stuff !

yeah Bob, ask Mr Fear who Stephen Dunne is whilst your at it! Its funny, because for a keeper to get motm it usually means that the rest of the team had a bad day! the way were going, mr friedel isn't going to win this very much. and long may it continue!

Milner has been outstanding but has to be Richard Dunne for me. We have looked much more solid since his arrival. On a sidenote, would have been interested to see how many votes James Collins would have got had he not been injured because he was playing brilliaantly prior to his injury.

On current form it'd be Milner hands down. Over the season it's either Dunne or Gabby. I'd say Gabby as his goals are proving very important.

Anyone who says otherwise than Milner doesn't watch our games. Hes' been a class act.
