Warnock's Still An Injury Worry

Stephen Warnock is a possible doubt for tonight's Sunderland clash after picking up a neck injury in our victory over Man U.

Speaking on the Official Site yesterday, Martin O'Neill said that Warny and a couple of others would be undergoing late fitness tests today before he finalised his squad.

'We've got a few people who are waiting on late fitness tests.'

He described Warnock as being 'pretty sore' at the moment, whilst others had 'bumps and bruises'.

The likelihood is we'll see a somewhat changes squad - this rotation malarky could well catch on you know - as Monny knows with fixtures coming thick and fast:

'Players love to play and will tell you they are perfectly alright even when they are not.'

The chances are those who may be missing tonight will be fine for the Stoke clash, but our lovely trip to the Stadium of Shite could well be a touch too soon.
