Who is the greatest player ever... You decide!

Dwight Yorke or Dean Saunders? Dion Dublin or Tony Daley?

Who is the greatest Villa player ever to play in the Premiership? What is the best Villa XI ever to play in the Premiership? You decide!

It's a topic that has divided opinion for Villa fans across the land and now there is a new website dedicated to finding out exactly who is the greatest Villa player and XI to ever have ever graced the English Premiership.

www.greatestvillaplayer.com has a unique 'Play-Off' system where two randomly selected players go head-to-head in a battle vote where you can decide which player you think is the best. Based on the statistics collected, it generates a table of the top 50 players and is presented along with the Greatest Villa XI ever. The beauty of this site is the more votes the players receive, the more accurate the results, so get voting! There are another 30 individual team sites and one huge site called www.greatestplayerever.com which lets the fans decide who the best player and XI of all the players and teams to have ever played in the Prem ince it exploded onto the scene back in 1992.

"Anybody who is a Villa fan will not be able to resist the pure addictiveness of these sites," said James Terry, Founder of the Greatest Player Ever Network. "The ability of this game to capture your imagination and draw you in is unbelievable. Seeing some of your past heroes pitted against some of the modern greats is fantastic and remembering some of the not so great players is brilliant entertainment, its pure football gold!"

The site will soon be launching a membership feature with the opportunity to win fantastic prizes from signed shirts to VIP football tickets, dream teams, and additional member extras.

At the time of writing this article the current all time VillaPremiership XI is Friedel, Watson, Southgate, Ehiogu, Staunton, Houghton, Barry, Boateng, Daley, Yorke.

Having voted a few times I can see why that team is what it is... most players have only had about 3 or 4 votes max so far. Will be interesting to see after a few weeks of voting.

Friedel ahead of Bozzie, Watson ahead of Barret, Ugo ahead of Mcgrath, Boateng ahead of Taylor, wow people have short memories! What next a midfield 4 of Hadji Kachloul Leonhardson and Kinsella *flash back to Graham Taylor second stint*

I hate you for this Fear. I already get addicted to things as easy as a 13 year old mother to crack. I'm doomed to hours upon hours on this now.

Ian Taylor!!!! Though i'm glad Ugo is there, had he played in London he'd have got more England caps than Sol Campbell.

OMG JayVFC you are right, that is so very addictive, so thanks Fear, if i get sacked, ggrrrrr (waggling fist in the air!)

Good fun though, the team is beginning to slowly shape though and we must remember an all time great is going to be very different to a 16 year old as opposed to a 60 year old!

10 players only, no Taylor, no McGrath...and Steve Watson?!?! Friedal has been good, but needs a few more seasons to be on the same level as Bozzie and Platt never played for us in the Prem, was the first division then. Townsend could be a shout for consistency too
