Injury Updates For Davies, Collins & Wilf

A few of injury updates with James Collins and Wilfred Bouma close to returns and Curtis Davies progressing.

On former West Ham defender and summer signing James Collins, MON told the official site that he is 'improving' and they hope he'll be able to join in with training on Thursday... blimey this is difficult to write with Muse blasting out, either I stop typing or I turn my music down... decisions decisions.

Collins

MON added before being so rudely interupted: 'He's feeling much, much better. The groin seems to have eased a great deal and the calf problem he was suffering from seems to be not bad at all.'

On Davies, MON says the player is 'on schedule' and will see his shoulder specialist again in January adding that they'll not push him as they want him fully over the injury.

'At the moment Curtis is feeling pretty good. He is doing all other types of training - obviously running to keep his cardiovascular up - he's right on schedule and things are going well.'

And best of all... well, no disrespect to the other two, but you get my drift, he's been out 18 months for goodness sake (just realised I'm arguing with myself here... too much sugar today I think) there appears to be good news on the Wilf front.

'Freddie had a bit of a setback with a turf toe injury. He has gone to see a specialist who is recommending we try and immobilise it for a week or two and see how that works.'

Shame how that happened because MON says it truly is a separate injury and added on the Official Site 'In terms of his ankle, it is absolutely fine. The second half of the season, I'm hoping when this toe injury clears up, that he should be back and raring to go.'

Might take Wilf a while to get back to match fitness, but good news all round - it's been so long, looking forward to seeing him on the pitch again !

Looking forward to Bouma's return. I was there the day against Odense when he knackered his leg up. I was sitting in the Trinity Road stand and you could hear his screams from where I was sat. Poor lad. Be good to give Warnock some solid competition if he can back to his best.
