Change To Blackburn Away Ticketing

Well done to Villa, by the looks of it they have once again pro-actively listened to fans feedback and changed something that had caused a little bit of debate!

(our forum thread on it + a few posts made in The General's thread Click Here )

The dates for the away leg of the Carling Cup semi final had been set to:

Friday December 18: On-sale to all Season Card Holders who attended the Carling Cup fixture against Sunderland OR Match Ticket Purchasers who attended the Carling Cup fixture against Sunderland*
Tuesday December 22: On-sale to all Season Card Holders*

That has now rightly been changed to:

Friday December 18: On-sale to all Season Card Holders who attended the Carling Cup fixture against Sunderland.
Tuesday December 22: On-sale to all Season Card Holders* OR Match Ticket Purchasers who attended the Carling Cup fixture against Sunderland*

SO season ticket holders aren't rated lower than those who bought tickets for Sunderland away and nothing else this season.

Obviously with a limited amount of tickets they'll never keep us all happy but as long as the home and away fans are treated first and then season ticket holders who do put their money up front each season, whether I qualify for a ticket or not, I'm all smiles... well, maybe not smiles, don't want to cause wrinkles for this lovely face now do I?

Am I reading this right?......because I didnt go to the Sunderland game, I will not be able to secure my seats on the 18th? "Friday December 18: On-sale to all Season Card Holders who attended the Carling Cup fixture against Sunderland OR Match Ticket Purchasers who attended the Carling Cup fixture against Sunderland* Tuesday December 22: On-sale to all Season Card Holders*" Well what is the point of being a season ticket holder then? Villa had 1100 off me for two seats at the start of the seaon, and if my seats are taken come the 22nd I will be well peed off. Surely I am not alone in this?

stig might be worth a re read. 18th is for Season ticket holders who went to Sunderland. 22nd is for all season ticket holders and non season ticket holders who went to Sunderland. They are first giving priority to season ticket holders who went to Sunderland. Secondly to season ticket holders and those who went to Sunderland. Sounds reasonably fair to me.
