Luke Young Getting A Nose Bleed!!!

Luke Young told the official site he nearly got a nosebleed he was so far up the pitch within the first 30 seconds but does admit he should have got it on target!

The Villa fullback added on AVTV, 'Luckily Emile made me look a bit better when he missed his chance and Dunny showed us how to do it after that.'

He also says he was delighted the team got a clean sheet adding, 'Right from kick-off we've been at it and have set a high tempo to the game, and we've been getting an early goal, which has been helping us. I think the first-half performance pretty much won us the game.'

Got to agree, from the start we were on it which must make the defenders job so much easier, also great to see they were - for the first 25-30mins at least - stroking the ball around and passing it so well, that is much better than the hoof ball which leads so often to us losing possession.

Thought Luke was superb on Saturday. Really disappointed that he has ruled himself out for England. Right back is a problem area. Johnson is great going forward, but can't defend. Actually, just like Ashley Cole on the left!

Long may he keep it up. We could use some attacking full-backs in the mould of A. Cole and Johnson. In Warnock and Young they showed against Hull they have all the ability to link up with the attacking play. If people are worrying about what's gonna happen when Collins returns, then spare a thought for Curtis Davies and poor Freddie Bouma.
