Gabby To Get Dunne By Defender
Richard Dunne has warned Gabby of more crap puns by Vital Villan....no, not that...hold on...that's it, has warned Gabby he could soon overtake him in the scoring charts.
Speaking to the Birmingham Mail our scoring centre half has joked that he could soon catch eight goal Gabby after bagging his third for the club last weekend.
Since joining the club Dunne's record stands at 3 goals in 4 months, which for a centre half isn't a bad return - it's a very good return when you consider at City he scored only 7 times in 9 years.
'It is nice to score but you never know as a defender when you are going to score again, so it is nice.
'I'm not far off being the top scorer I don't think.
'It is good at the moment.'
It would be funny if Dunne could grab top scorer, although that just could be me.

It would at first be very funny, and then as it sinks in embarrasing and sad and would quite possibly shatter the confidence of our strikers !!! But what a great signing he has been :-)

I've already seen Man City fans questioning the logic behind selling Dunne and paying stupid money for Lescott which has resulted in a worse defence - although they're not doing too bad right now!!
