Villa Old Stars 50th Anniversary Game

The Villa Old Stars, who are celebrating a magnificent 50 years, are playing v a West Midlands Select team managed by Tom Ross next Sunday (13 December) at the Alexander Stadium, (Walsall Road, Perry Barr, Birmingham, B42 2LR)

Kick off is 11:30am and the match should feature many of the Villa greats from days gone by including Sir Dennis Of Mortimer, Tony Morley, Gordon Cowans etc as well as some 'cameo' shows from some of the older boys.

Admission is 5 with a programme (on sale at the Villa club shops or phone 08448 735 670) and proceeds will go to Aston Villa Former Player's Association charity causes and Birmingham Mail's foundation.

Also just had it confirmed that there will be kiosks selling programmes on the day.

There is also the three-course meal night on Wednesday December 16 which will have around 100 former Villa players there. Think tickets are nearly sold out but you can look on their site: www.astonvillafpa.org and submit the online form, or send an email to info@astonvillafpa.org
