Was any one else a bit underwhelmed at the unveiling. I was expecting some speeches maybe but didn't happen. Oh well, the statue looks great and it was good to see so many turn up. And old Deadly seemed in a great mood. "I beg to tender the following suggestion."

I just missed the unveiling and was crushed not to have seen HDE in the flesh, having only ever seen his noble countenance on the telly and in pictures. I was told he'd turn up for the opening of an envelope. I think the statue will act as a constant reminder that even when the team isn't stunning us with quality football, we are still supporters of a truly great club.
