Lawro & Mystic Mug Say Villa Wins

Lawro & Mystic Mug Say Villa Wins

BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson is backing Villa for a 2-1 win. To be fair, he has had more right than wrong this season I think, although last week's Villa win v Burnley ended up wrong as we only drew 1-1.

The former moustached one said: 'This is the battle of the pretenders.'

EH?!

Sorry, how are Liverpool doing this season Mark!? lol

Adding, 'Villa dropped points at Burnley last week, while Tottenham had an unbelievable 9-1 win over Wigan. It's going to be close, but being as Villa are at home I'll go for Martin O'Neill's side.'

Would loved him to explain the pretenders jibe a bit more, why are we pretenders to the throne, when did Liverpool last win the Premier League?! Oh yes, that is right, never!

BBC preview will be linked here later no doubt: www.bbc.co.uk/sport

Mystic Mug is going for a 3-2 to Villa although he did say his balls were cloudy and couldn't really read what was on the cards for tomorrow.

Easy win for us, no one need worry, just need to go in hard on Defo & Lennon early doors & we'll be fine :-)

will be a good game tomorrow, anything can happen but if we play like against bolton i can't see us not winning. yeah its funny how pundits and 'experts' like lawrenson assume liverpool basically deserve to be title contenders, considering they last one the league 20, yes 20 years ago haha.

I can't see Lawro calling us and spuds pretenders to win the premiership, cos we ain't no where close, so this must refer to the top 4, in which case he is right, although I think contenders is a better word. Liverpool are the pretenders now but not for winnng the league but for finishing in a Europa league spot. LOL hope Everton stuff them.

I do hope the liverpool slump continues as they have deffo been the pretenders as far as the prem is concerned. Also they can't sack Raffa due to a massive compensation payaout that would need addressing. Can we win tomorrow? Of course we can. It will be close but we are at home and i think we can take advantage of an over confident Spurs side. I think they will be too confident and we will battle. 2-0 Villa.
