Lincoln Villa Strike Again

Chris Sutton has decided to take another of our young lads on loan, although it would've been better for the cheesy titles had Chris Herd joined first.

Had Herd joined Lincoln prior to Baker and Lichaj (who returned after receiving a 3 match ban) I could've made a joke that young Nath and Eric were following the Herd. But sadly it wasn't to be, and following the Baker doesn't have the same kind of ring to it.

Yes folks, get ready for more of the same...I've almost fully recovered from the Hamster flu so God help you all!

Anyhoo - Chris Herd has joined on a short term loan until January 2nd and has gone straight into Lincoln's squad for their FA Cup second round tie at Northwich Victoria this Saturday.

Although Herd featured in the Peace Cup he's yet to make his senior bow for the Villans, but made his league debut during a loan stint in 2008 for Port Vale and also spent some time at Wycombe.

Suppose this is another excuse to watch those football league highlighty type shows with ManSheesh and Clurridge to see how he gets on.

Just means I'm back to normal mate. Couldn't stand being sensible over the last few days - just didn't seem right.
