Villa Reserves Beat Arsenal & Go 5 Points Clear

Villa reserves beat Arsenal 2-1 away last night putting Villa 5 points ahead of 2nd placed Arsenal.

Marc Albrighton and Craig Gardner scored for Villa. Stewart Downing played 75 minutes in his push for full fitness and managed to set up the first goal for Villa.

VILLA: Parish, Roome, C Gardner, Herd, Clark, Delph, Albrighton, Weimann, Delfouneso, Bannan, Downing. Substitutes: Hofbauer (for Delfouneso), Dau, McGurk (for Downing), G Gardner (for Delph), Carruthers, Williams.
