Official Site & Online Ticketing Upgrades

Official Site & Online Ticketing Upgrades

The Official Site upgrade is continuing there has been a bit of a facelift on the main site and also the logins are placed in easier locations. That work will be ongoing now they have completed most of the 'behind the scenes' work including servers etc (the non sexy and non visible stuff which is crucial to the working of a site basically!)

There main focus recently has been improving the ticketing side of things: www.avfc.co.uk/page/TicketingHome

As the folks at the official site explained:

avfcsales.co.uk eTicketing changes

Our eTicketing site is going through a major overhaul. A few months ago we upgraded the infrastructure and subsequent releases of our Ticketing engines. We now have the ability to bring our web site up to the latest version of internet and web technologies including:

*A new styled look that mirrors our primary website header and footer.

*Includes master links and partner links.

*Easy to use navigational areas.

*Browse before you buy capabilty.

*Key promotional area that reinforces our campaigns and can be used for partners.

*Ability to be wrapped within our main site in the next stage.

*Packaging and bundling of products.

*Ability to offer memberships.

*Online sales of tickets, tours, events, consumer hospitality, bus tickets and even parking if we wanted to.

*Print from home tickets capability and a number of other items from Ticket Master Systems.

--------

Remember, this is all still very much a work in progress, so expect more changes and improvements over the coming months.
