Should MON Bring Petrov Straight Back Into Team?

Should MON Bring Petrov Straight Back Into Team?

Vital Villa asked:

What should MON do in midfield about the return of Petrov?

Seems 62% aren't totally sold on Steve Sidwell yet as they voted 'drop Sidwell and replace with Petrov'.

28% voted that Petrov should now have to wait for his chance to get back into the team.

That left 7% voting to drop Nigel Hokey-Cokey and replace with Petrov and 3% were unsure (thanks for that telling contribution!)

Be interesting to see what MON does, difficult to change a team who beat an opponent 5-1 surely?

There is a lively debate in our forum on this very issue... which is nice! www.astonvilla.vitalfootball.co.uk/forum

petrov and coker in the middle all day long. i would be tempted to get rid of sidders to be honest. never lived up to his own hype. Petrov is our captain, and fulcrom of our midfield, combined with the hussle and bustle of coker, we are a hand ful on our day!

chopping & changing petrov, sidwell & coker would keep them fresh all season, can't wait for downing to get in the squad, all the supporters who didnt want downing are going to feel silly, you watch this lad go when he gets in the team he is top drawer.

petrov and coker please! coker was amazing against bolton, have coker as the more defensive and let petrov roam as he did for celtic! sidwell should never be first choice i would have gardner and delph over him all day long UTV
