Villa To Take On Pompey In Last 8

Aston Villa have drawn Portsmouth away in the quarter finals of the Carling Cup.

The game will be played in the week beginning November 30, and given the remaining teams in the competition, Villa do have the easiest draw on paper.

There'll no doubt be more reaction to this post the Everton match today.

Just heard this on the commentary of the North London Derby. YES!! 66% of us got our wish. Shame it's away but that HAS to be a result!?!?! UTV! With the spirit of Bozzie in Guzan surely (Dare I whisper it) our name is on the cup. Would love a trip to WEM-BER-LEE!!

Deffo a PB. I'm sure Pompey will be well up for it and as we all know there are now easy games against Prem opposition. I'd still rather go to Fratton Park than Old Trafford!! ;)

Wouldn't you just know that Portsmouth would get their first win of the season (and just the odd 4 goals between them and their opponents) on the day we are drawn against them ... lol!
