VIDEO - Emile Heskey Desperate To Play

Emile Heskey has told Sky Sports News that he is determined to get back into the Villa side.

Good for him and good for us I'd say. From what I've read he played well v Sunderland and he certainly made a difference when he replaced John Carew (who appears to be doing his best to play Heskey back into the team with a total no show so far this season?) v Wolves at the weekend.



The big man said on Sky Sports News: 'Obviously I want to play in every game. That is the only thing I can do putting it in, in training and in the games. Everyone wants to go on that plane (to the World Cup). It's a great tournament to play in.'

Going to be interesting to see if he makes it, if he does it will surely be because he has forced his way back into the Villa team and started doing his job setting up and scoring goals? v Wolves was a good start, lets hope he continues that and starts to hit the back of the net himself.
