Well this will be a short and sweet article, very sweet.

Just read on the Sunderland Official site SAFC.com that their leading scorer Darren Bent is out of the Carling Cup clash with Villa at the Stadium Of Light tomorrow night after picking up an injury.

No disrespect and get well soon and all that jazz but WAHOOOOOO!

Come on Villa, we can go all the way in this competetion... GET IN THERE!

Hope we play the strongest possible team for this specific game - which in my mind does not mean the 11 "regulars", nor a total change to a reserve line-up. A strong defence still needed as the basis of the team and should not be changed - and Stan is too important to leave out. Otherwise I would go for some change up front and in midfield where the excellence of the youngsters is a better option than playing less than 100% committed first team stars, who do not give the competition the priority it deserves. Defeats by the likes of QPR and Leicester were cases in point. Not the match to give a start to Heskey, I'd prefer the Fonz. Albrighton and Bannan deserve a look-in too. Up the Villa.

On the other hand - if Bent had scored a hat-trick it would have given us a chance to ***** on MON's head. Always a pleasure.

So you'd rather Darren Bent scored a hat-trick against us just so you can be proved right. What happened to support at any cost? Priceless.
