Randy Lays On Free Travel To Sunderland Game

Villa info:

Villa are pleased to announce that supporters can secure FREE official coach travel to Tuesday's Carling Cup tie at Sunderland.

With four away games in the space of 12 days, this small gesture comes as an effort to get as many of the claret and blue army as possible behind Martin O'Neill's men at the Stadium of Light, as they bid to reach the quarter-finals.

Tickets for the game are just £15 for adults and £5 for concessions - and both match and coach tickets can be booked by visiting the ticket office at Villa Village or by calling 0800 612 0970.

Match and coach tickets will be available until 5pm on Monday October 26, but always remain subject to availability.

The ticket office is open until 7pm Monday to Friday, Saturday from 9am to 5pm and on Sunday from 10am to 2pm.

Supporters who have already purchased coach seats - which remain valid for the fixture - will be contacted shortly as we will be offering a refund or a £20 Club Voucher.

A great gesture but BEWARE normal Villa fans. At the Chelsea game a few seasons back the free travel enabled the animal element to get to a game they would normally not have got to...the result? Hooliganism, fans I've never seen before...abusive, topless snarling beasts! I remember after the game (lost 4-0) walking through the corridors under stands and the animal element were smashing the ceiling as they went, attacking each other and so on. Not the best experience I've had as a Villa fan.

I remember that one olof, it felt more like I was watching the game with a load of small heath fans. The idiots were smashing up cars all over the place too, top it all off we lost 4-0!

Yes superb gesture, but to be fair he probably needs to go one step further and physically pay people to go near Sunderland!!!
