Carew On Blogging

John Carew has again sung the praises of the faithful and thinks we will be the 12th man in Monday night's game against Man City.

The truly awful title comes from Andy5759, you'd never catch me playing with such ridiculous puns would you. That said I only think it's truly awful owing to the fact he thought of it before I did!

Onwards.

Speaking to the Birmingham Mail, the man who is bigger than me and you took part in some pre match build up but instead of looking at Richard Dunne or Gareth Barry, or Man City, ot even the Villa - he looked solely at us and said there's truly no place better than Villa Park when us fans get our gob on.

'They cheer all the time and they have patience with us even when we are not playing out best.'

Pointing again towards the difference fans can make, he adds:

'The fact the crowd are so good really helps us to get back to the level we should be at.

'At times it's like having an extra man on the pitch.'

So there you have it fellow Villans, ignore the ideas of booing Barry and cheer on the lads instead.

If Carew's name is shouting loud enough maybe he'll grab a hattrick.

Carew wont score a hat trick. Everyone knows he'll score (or two) and that he's bigger than... well you know the rest. NO Booing tomorrow please. Just 90 mins of "Milner For England".
