Martin O'Neill is relishing the chance to face Man City on Monday, and despite their form and Gareth Barry, he believes Richard Dunne will have a point to prove.
Speaking on the official site Monny has tagged the Monday night clash as a 'game to really saviour' pointing to the fact that Villa are more than capable of causing Mark Hughes' side problems.
'Manchester City will not be easy. They are playing very well at the moment and they're full of confidence.
'They have an abundance of talent, they are playing very well, confidence is high and it should make for a really great game.'
But that's enough about City, what about us?
'They have a lot of players who can cause you problems on the day. We have one or two, more than one or two, actually definitely more than one or two that can do exactly the same to them.'
Whichever way you look at it we do, the only question is will we see a performance like Blackburn or will we see a performance like Liverpool? If the latter it will be a hell of a game, and there's no reason why we won't walk away with all 3 points.
I don't really want to think what will happen if it's the former.
Adding when speaking to the Birmingham Mail that Richard Dunne will be certainly up for the game having spent so long at City and departing in the way he did.
Whilst others will focus on the return of Gareth Barry, Monny thinks it would be better to look in Dunne's direction.![]()
