Ticket news from the club:

Make sure you get to Villa Park EARLY today to buy or collect your tickets for the Carling Cup clash with Cardiff. Villa fans are being reminded that this evening's clash is a PAPER ticket affair - with no season cards being activated. If you want to buy a ticket, supporters should purchase AND collect their tickets at the earliest opportunity this afternoon - prior to matchday - to avoid congestion around Villa Park before the game kicks off. The club is anticipating extremely high demand for tickets today and would advise supporters to avoid missing kick-off by buying tickets in advance.

If you are collecting your tickets, they are available from the Ticket Office until two hours before kick-off and from the Holte End Collection Points from 6pm onwards on match night.

Prices are £20 (adults), £15 (young adults, students, over-65s) and £5 (under-16s). Tickets are still on sale to supporters with a booking history - so buy online below, visit the Ticket Office at Villa Park or contact 0800 612 0970.

i'll say about 33,000. Remember that season ticket holders from Vienna got theres free so they definitely will have sold a lot extra on top of that!

What about line-up?? Ill go for Guzan, Beye, Shorey, Cuellar, Clark, A Young, Gardner, Delph, Reo-Coker, Delfouneso, Carew. I think NRC will be slightly out of position (Right Midfield) to show him who is boss!!! Haha! Would love to see Albrighton and Bannan play though!!
