Milner's Player Of The Month Joy

Milner's Player Of The Month Joy

James Milner had been voted the Lions Club Player of the Month for August.

After some wonderful displays of late for the claret and blue, Milner stormed into the lead with a whopping 43% of the vote.

This was the first vote of the season and he finds himself well ahead in the chase for the 'Terrace Trophy' which is Sponsored by Thomas Cook.

The Trophy will be awarded in May 2010 to the player with the most monthly awards.

So Milner now finds himself 1-0 up on his fellow teammates and is no doubt looking enviously at Petrov who won the award last term.

Well done James but Milner probably had his worst game in a Villa shirt versus the unwashed, so probably won't win the September award. Who will it be? NOT NRC, anyway!
