MON On Hokey-Cokey 'My Rules Apply'!

MON On Hokey-Cokey 'My Rules Apply'!

Martin O'Neill has told the official site 'I am the custodian of this place - my rules apply' and whether you love him or loathe him either as a fan or as a player, he is spot on. Only one person can rule a team and that is the gaffer, if he does it right he gets the plaudits, if he does it wrong, he gets a P45!

In a statement on the official site, he confirms there was a set to between player and manager and that Hokey-Cokey will not be playing tomorrow v Pompey.

Wish they sold tickets, would have been interesting!

NRC to leave in January then? You don't usually cross a manager, especially one like MON and get away with it.

Hmmmmm. I think if you're contrite, apologise and knuckle down MON let's bygones be bygones - as long as it's not repeated. Big John had his one and only chance - any repeat and it will be his last. Same may apply for NRC... Depends what words were said really... If he called his mother a $$ %%^!!*@@! there may be no way back!!!

Monny has said come Monday it's over so it's anyone's guess. He's just banned from the Pompey game and training today. That said Monny also rubbished reports about the wrestling, calling it 'a figment of onlookers imagination' and repeating it was only verbal, although that hasn't stopped the Sun repeating it.

ljkal - according to some Big John has already crossed MON three times - Ajax, Moscow and Wigan, and he's still here getting all kinds of praise from the manager. Special set of rules applying to Big John? Or Vital 'sources' not as credible as some would have you believe...?

All kinds of praise yet predominantly on the bench, and until late starting behind Heskey. Stay consistent NV, just cause you love the player doesn't mean other clubs are lining up for him at a price we would be willing to sell at. Add that to the fact he's a fan favourite and the flak Monny would take for selling him, I think you'll find despite your sarcastic comment about sources, we are more right than you give credence for and 'special dispensation' is far more credible. But that's the bigger picture, what do we know, other than less than Norwegian media obviously?
