Gabby Wants Another Derby Victory

Gabby Agbonlahor would prefer nothing more than to grab this winner in this weekend's clash against the Blues.

Speaking on the official site, Gabby took a trip down memory lane to our 5-1 of our lowly neighbours, but yet he prefers the more subtle 2-1 victory at the Sty.

Why? I hear you cry.

Well it's quite simple really, although Gab found the net in the 5-1 smasher, he much preferred grabbing what became the winning goal in the dying minutes of the 2-1 win.

The match was a new experience for Gabby who had never played in a derby game before because he described the atmosphere as 'tremendous' and described his 87 minute header a 'really terrific moment'.

'It was great to go and celebrate with the fans too - you could what it meant to them.'

Agbonlahor also hoes his and the teams' celebrations showed the fans what victory meant to them. A celebration they are determined to repeat before next Monday.

'To score the winner in such a big game was unbelieveable. I was so happy that I'd helped us to victory in the derby.'

A victory would certainly help keep our season on track and another 'victory' goal for Gabby would have everybody leaping from their seats.

not to forget that he cleared one off the line a minute before he scored the winner! (or was it a minute after??!!) anyway, he was a hero in that game, lets have another!
