Villa Full Of Confidence Ahead Of Derby Clash

Villa Full Of Confidence Ahead Of Derby Clash

Gabby Agbonlahor has said the team are full of confidence after our back to back wins against Liverpool and Fulham...oh Premiership back to back wins, right got ya.

Forgive me I had a brain spaz for a moment there and for some reason thought we crashed out of Europe between those two matches.

But let's go with the positive spin for a positive article shall we.

Speaking on the official site Gab believes the upbeat nature of the squad could be a determining factor this weekend and our momentum and confidence will see us through.

'Confidence is absolutely essential in football.

'This is the best we've felt all season going into a game, it's the same from a personal point of view too. The earlier you score your first goal of the season, the better.'

So there we have it, the team are happy, fans feel brighter we are on an unbeaten streak of two matches.

Almost feels like the right time to bring Heskey back in and go 442 doesn't it.

We DID win the match against Rapid Vienna, so in stand alone games its 3 in a row...we just failed to score the 3rd goal e needed to win the tie!

I'm in one of those moods, anyway I always view double legs as one big extended single match - there's no draw, you either win or lose. We went out so we lost. Yes I do like life simples.

I just can't be doing with this rampant positivity if the truth be told (that should get some going PMSL).
