Shorey Linked With Loan To Baggies

Well yesterday the talk from Villa was that Nicky Shorey very much had a future at the club: (Shorey Has Role - Osbourne On Loan - Dwight Gone!) however today the Mirror says that West Brom might come in for him for a season long loan.

The 28-year-old, it appears from quotes by MON yesterday, was the one that wanted to speak to Pompey because he is worried he'll spend another season as a bit part player as he did spending half his time on the bench last season and most especially with the threat from new arrival Stephen Warnock and the possible return from injury for Wilfred Bouma shortly.

The report today says that West Brom are having to switch players around and will move for Shorey when the loan window re-opens this week.

If we do loan him, you would assume there would have to be a pretty quick recall clause in the contract? Wilf is getting ever closer but there can't be guarantees until he is back fully fit and playing obviously.
