Club Announcement - Rapid Deal

Club Announcement - Rapid Deal

Fans who attended the Rapid Vienna game will be given a free complimentary ticket to either the Carling Cup match against Cardiff or a choice of Premiership clashes.

As we all know, prior to the Rapid Vienna match at Villa Park the club introduced a deal whereby fans who brought tickets and attended the game would be given free access to one of the group stage matches.

Unfortunately as we know we failed to qualify, so after having a cup of coffee, listening to feedback (I happen to know in the forum a free Cup ticket was suggested) the club have decided the best way to honour that offer is to allow it to apply to the Cardiff game for season ticket holders and non season ticket holders will receive free entry to a Premiership game.

Season Ticket Holders

Seasoners who attended the Rapid Vienna game will receive a free complimentary ticket to the Carling Cup match against Cardiff.

The game against the Bluebirds, which should see the return of Encks and Whitts I believe takes place on Wednesday, 23 September with a 7.45pm kick off. Tickets will be sent out on September 8.

IMPORTANT

Season ticket holders who purchased tickets for the game and sit in the North Stand Upper need to contact the club to arrange alternate seating as Cardiff have exercised their right to increased allocation.

Non Season Ticket Holders

Non season ticket holders who purchased tickets to the Vienna game are being offered a complimentary ticket to one of the following Premier League clashes:

Pompey - Sep 19

Bolton - Nov 7 *

Hull - Dec 5 *

Burnley - Feb 20, 2010 *

Sunderland - Mar 6, 2010 *

* Fixtures subject to change

Supporters who purchased a pre printed ticket on the night of the Vienna match needs to present their ticket stub at the Villa Village Ticket Office in order to receive their free ticket.

lol Merlin. Good to see you can laugh about it!! Carling Cup? Lower league opposition? Away supporters taking on the Upper North Stand? QPR anybody? It's gonna be hard to out sing a packed Upper North Stand, they're gonna be well up for it.

Am I the only one outraged by this awful gesture?! Only joking! This is 'so Villa' these days, they didn't need to do anything but have anyway, fantastic. Means I can afford three pies on the night now!
