Richard Dunne has told the official site that he has moved to Villa because he believes we can be up there and challenging for the Champions League. 'I'm delighted. It's a great opportunity for me. Obviously Aston Villa have improved each season recently. Hopefully I can be part of a squad that can challenge for a Champions League spot.' Adding, 'I think with Aston Villa, with the experience they would have gained from last season - they went so close for so long at the top end and the manager has bought in some new players into the squad this year - maybe it might help us go that bit further.' + The Man, the Legend that is Mr Johnny Baguette on our new arrival Richard Dunne, a homage from the Man City official site: Richard Dunne - Man City Praise & Villa Quotes

I was abit miffed to read that Tony Cascarino thinks MON is the'King of buying average players. If the remarks had been made by someone who, in my opinion, was only ever an average player anda less than average pundit I might have been concerned, If Cascarino is so good why doesn't he put his money where his mouth is and become a manager. Anyone, including me, can offer opinions, but taking up the hot seat is another matter. Overall, I think MON 'done good' and I am looking forward to the season, which I wan't after Wigan, which I think was his 'wake up' call.

One good thing about Cascarino is he will at least give an opinion, most of the pundits are so bland, not saying I agree with him, but I do like pundits to be a bit gobby!

Brilliant Lee, the old Trinity was just so beautiful.
