Curtis Davies To See Specialist Over Shoulder

Curtis Davies will find out next week what the best course of action is for his troublesome shoulder problem. Davies, who had to come off last night v Rapid Vienna in some discomfort, will see a specialist to see what needs to be done.

Martin O'Neill says that the defender is feeling a bit better today but they will have to look at a proper solution for the recurring problem.

'We have an international break coming up and he will go down and have a specialist look at him. We will see how that goes. He is a terrific character, he wants to play all the time, he's got great enthusiasm for it and always puts his hands up wanting to play.'

Must admit last night I couldn't have been more impressed, despite looking very uncomfortable, he still clapped the Trinity crowd who had stood to applaud him off... top man!

MON admits that the former West Bromwich Albion player might need surgery at some point.

What a pain though, Luke Moore used to have the same, I remember him coming over the bench once and as he walked over he just popped his own shoulder back in, you could hear the crack as he did it! Nice party trick come to think of it!

he must be playing in agony thats gotta affect his performances....it really is poor not to have back up so he can go and get this fixed.....imagine if you had something similar and your boss wouldn't let you have any time off?
