Transfers - 5 Days To Go... Dunne Next?

Transfers - 5 Days To Go... Dunne Next?

5 days to go....

Well, not much transfer gossip at all today, in fact apart from the reports repeating that we have agreed a fee for Manchester City skipper Richard Dunne : (Dunne Deal) there is nothing at the moment.

The reports are stating that the central defender is at Villa today to talk over terms and if agreed, hopefully have a medical and sign.

The only other transfer talk is for a deal already completed for Stephen Warnock signed for a fee of around £7-8million depending on the paper you read. (Click his name for quotes from the player who was paraded in front of the crowd before the game)

Unless MON offers Dunne the same terms he is on at City (5 year contract 55K pw) he will not be joining Villa.

Got a feeling we will sign Jenas on deadline day and that will be it, we still need another centre half as well as Dunne, plus a goalscorer, we missed the boat on both Tuncay and Bent.

Apparently big stumbling block is his wages. Might explain why MON seemed quite negative when asked about the deal.
