Villa Park Crowd To Be Rewarded

Villa Park Crowd To Be Rewarded

Aston Villa have released a statement to those who attended the Rapid Vienna game last night at Villa Park:

Aston Villa would like to thank all those who attended tonight's game against Rapid Vienna.

As we have not progressed to the Europa League group stages, we will be looking at other ways to reward fans for supporting the team in the second leg clash.

Nice gesture but I'm not sure we need to be rewarded for being fans and supporting our team, then again, I'm hoping it is a Tag Heuer watch... I'd be well made up!

Reward enough was the entertainment that the Rapid fans provided to be honest, they were nutters and God bless them for it, fantastic bunch!

If anything, I'd rather the money was spent making a donation to Acorns?

Talking about donations to Acorns....

If they were serious about rewarding the Villa faithful then they would commence immediately the task of reversing the stands to face in the opposite direction in order to alleviate your suffering .............. HA ...........!!!!

Fair play,I would think it is to stop the fans who went because of the free ticket thing moaning.Anyway i agree with the comments about the rapid fans,The did us fair and square and should of had 2 or 3 away goals on the night.Whereas we reverted back to relying on ashley young all the time.Never mind.

the comment from Wishaw bhoy was a joke and he is a Celtic fan. My comment in the article was a positive one, we are Villa fans, it is a lovely gesture but I'm not sure we need to be rewarded, being a Villa fan is reward enough, if they want to do something, a donation to Acorns would satisfy me personally far more than a free ticket to a cup game or whatever. Chill out ffs.
