Man Of The Match v Liverpool

Man Of The Match v Liverpool

Vital Villa's last poll was for the man of the match v Liverpool:

Liverpool Hero of the Match

Before I give the results... and I know you can't wait...!.... can I just say.... Oh the look on Ickle Stevie's face when he gave away the penalty... PRICELESS!!!!

Anyway, no surprise as far as I'm concerned, Nigel Hokey-Cokey won with a full bloodied performance, the guy looked like he had a point to prove and proved it very nicely! He got 59% of the vote.

Next up was Brad Friedel with 26%. That is the best I've seen him play in a Villa shirt, more of that this season please Brad!

Rest of the results:

Davies 5%
Milner 2%
Petrov 2%
Sidwell 1%
Cuellar 1%
Shorey 1%
Beye 1%
Young 1%
Agbonlahor 1%
Heskey??? 0% (bit harsh putting him in the vote Mike Field?!?!!)

And the Villa v Liverpool prediction thread saw 15% right predicting a win... tufty badges (you have to be a certain age to remember that I think!) in the post.
19% thought we'd lose and a rather large 58% thought we'd lose big. That left 8% predicting a draw.

Have I mentioned the look in Ickle Stevie's face yet?!?!?

Our latest poll, suggested by JohnMurphy, asks if John Carew is fit for Thursday night, would you change the winning team to put him straight back in?

The Rapid Vienna game will be a very different one compared to at anfield. The onus was on Liverpool to attack us which allowed us to play our counter-attacking style at its best. Rapid Vienna are likely to sit back and let us come on to them and try to break them down something in my opinion that let us down last season

i am not a fan of Hokey cokey - but he deserves the MOM, he was brilliant for us, if he continues like that i will become a def fan
