Congrats to Martin for playing 4 5 1 and getting a much needed result, many congrats to Nigel Hokey-Cokey for putting in a REAL battling performance and to Brad Friedel for his show stopping man of the match performance.

I'd not have put 20p on that result, makes it all the sweeter. As said earlier, every time you write off the Villa, they offer up a little ray of sunshine, long may that formation and that spirit continue, they were a different team to Saturday's and all of a sudden, things don't look so bad!

Now lets see a few arrivals, a win in Europe and a decent home performance v Fulham.

I hope we're all a bit happier now - some of the abuse MON and the team have received recently has been unjust, although we definately do still need some action in the transfer market. We have a team there, and a with a few choice additions, we can still compete. Roll on Thursday, and then Fulham on Sunday. Have it!
