Lawro Says Villa Loss

Mark Laursenson, who predicted a 2-0 win to Villa v Wigan last weekend won't be making the same mistake twice as he has backed Liverpool to beat us at Anfield this Monday night!

The former moustached one... bring back the Moustache Lawro! Said:

'Liverpool, after a poor start against Tottenham, were very good against Stoke on Wednesday, taking them apart at times. Villa, though, had a poor start to their season with defeat against Wigan, and they just don't look strong enough defensively at the moment.'

He predicts 2-0

We'll win then. When you expect a result from Villa we do the opposite.

You don't need a crystal ball to see we're going to be masacred.

It's the misses birthday Monday. I'm beginning to think that a nice meal for two is preferable to watching the match. :( It was my Mom's birthday last year when we played at Anfield. Managed to drag everyone to the pub to watch it. Wish I hadn't bothered. Will we ever learn? Doubt it.

I never take into account what Mark 'Lawro' Lawrenson predicts, I read him more for a good laugh than anything else. On the other hand, 'Mystic Mug' is my bible, so I have to admit to a twinge of concern as to whether the lads will return home to Brummagem with a point or three in the bag, particularly as MM seems so down on their chances. I though, am going to conjour up a little bit of faith and hope, and believe that the lads will finally get the season underway, and secure a point in a 1-1 draw. It wont be easy, and we'll no doubt be well and truly on the rack at times, but I forsee a night of frustration for Senor Torres and co. I'll be in The Arkles pub (just a brief walk from the stadium) pre-game should anyone care to buy me a pint or five, and a few bags of scratchings.
