Fancy Attending A Match For Free?

Fancy Attending A Match For Free?

Well that's the question Villa are asking fans who don't already have a ticket for the 2nd leg against Rapid Vienna.

Trailing the first leg 1-0 after our pathetic loss last night, Villa do still have a chance of qualifying for the group stages of the Europa League depending on whether we have strikers who can score.

In an attempt to boost fan spirits and no doubt avert a substandard attendance, Villa are giving those fans who attend the clash a choice of attending one of the Group stage matches for free.

All supporters who have already purchased their tickets also receive the offer if Villa qualify.

For those fans who buy the tickets on the day of the match, the club is advising you to keep hold of your ticket stubs in order to prove purchase.

A very nice offer if I do say so myself!

You've got to hand it to the villa, we do offer value for money, might even consider it. It is a big IF though

Would be good if the offer is for any of the group matches. Not that later on they stipulate after the draw (if we qualify) that the free ticket is only to see the game against Almatra Young boys or something like that. Still, makes sense to fill the stadium, to drown out the Rapid fans, they really gave their team good support on Thursday! And what about the fans who made the trip to Vienna? Shouldnt they be given a free ticket?
