Villa Fan Enjoys The Rollercoaster Ride!

Villa Fan Enjoys The Rollercoaster Ride!

Vital Villa member 45-year-old Meyouldy in a positive address to General Krulak

Being a Villa fan for all of my life General which is not as long as some on here, I often ask myself why?

Saturday into Sunday was one of those. But the answer is:

If I wanted success at any price I'd support Chelski,
If I wanted to win every week because its my God given right I'd support Man Ure.

Villa is in my heart and that is where it will stay.

We're not the best club in Europe but the rollercoaster ride that is part being a Villan is all part of the fun.

Yes I was here in 82 I was also still here in 83 and 84, this club is like a wife, as much pleasure as it is pain.

I firmly believe that MON will not deliver the Premier League title to VP but he is the best out there IMO to deliver what I want as a fan.

A well managed, well balanced team who's players I can almost relate to and can pronounce all of there names, except that foreigner, ablongywhore, agbonglolol, whatever his name is!!

Joking apart, we don't all feel the same and some have higher expectations than others, really don't make us better or worse fans.

Alex Ferguson won nothing in his first five seasons at Man ure, If the board are convinced he's the right man then that's good enough for me until he leaves, then he will be judged on what he has or hasn't achieved.

Its villa fans who are in the wrong not o`neill,They think we should be winning the league because we won the euro cup back in 82,Guess what it means ***** all and it doesn`t make us a big club in 2009.It is never going to happen unless you are man city,Once you pull your heads out of your fat arses and realise that you will see we are competeing at the hieght of our realistic ambitions,Then you will start enjoying it instead of booing and moaning on the internet.Well said meyouldy.

There's a difference betweena well run club and a well run team...ideally the two should go hand in hand...at the moment we have a well run club....but there certain aspects of team management that just aren't working. It has nothing to do with expectations but everything to with being fair dinkum to your supporters. How can you sell players without first replacing them? and to say 'we must have a bigger squad'? It defies logic. The club should give MON 6 games to get his act together...boo me if you like but I'm entitled to an opinion and no I don't expect us to win the title or even to finish top 4 but I do expect us to have a decent season...thats not having your head up ur arse but a reasonable expectation.

I'm more with you Steve, as a fan I can't say all I want is "A well managed, well balanced team with players I can relate too" I could get that a Boldmere St Michaels!! Of course its unrealistic to think we can win the league and its not fair to expect Champions League football but what we've had for the last few months including the transfer window is pretty unacceptable. MON's tactics and transfers are still confusing and I think he is playing a risky game at the moment!
