Well, Well.. Hull Think They Have Luke Young!
Oh no, surely not?
Vital Hull (Gossip - City have bid accepted (for Young?) ) are suggesting that Hull City have had a bid accepted for an un-named right-back and the rumours in Hull are that it is none other than our very own Luke Young

I hope this isn't right, it would follow through from the whispers a week or so back when Luke came home from the Peace Cup in Spain but I put those whispers down to .... I don't know.. I don't know anything anymore! People at the time were saying he came home upset about something or other, as opposed to for injury reasons (suppose it is strange to come home when the club physio's are over there).
Who knows...
Nothing in these things until announced on the official sites... just hope this one isn't true, despite being played out of position I think he's been mighty fine for Villa.

Wouldnt suprise me at all, weve got BEYE in now so that means 2 right backs at the club so how will mon get away with doing wot he loves best and play people out of postion when hes got positional backup on the best. were will Reo-cocker play?????? I just hope its bull S***...!

Tigers fan here, we all thought it was pretty unlikely but we have just heard that we have definitely had a bid accepted for an EPL right back. No name attached but the local radio station are convinced it is either LY or Chimbonda. Oh, and keep your mits off Turner LOL!

As for Turner, He's just another davies if you ask me. 1 seasons worth of prem experience just isnt what we want or need. If its chimbonda, y the hell did spuds buy him back in the 1st place?? its probably Hutton.

Luke Young should be England's first choice right back on the strength of last season's performances (and was in one of Capello's squads if memory serves), but if O'Neill is going to continue with him at left back (and who would bet against it?), it makes it very difficult for Capello to pick him as a right back. For this reason alone I can see Young being unhappy. The big surprise would be if a bigger club didn't come in for him, not that we sold an unhappy player.

Why is everyone so wound up about Luke young, fact is his brother has just died and the club have given him compassionate leave, in order to deal with the tragedy? I know if I lost someone as close as a younger brother, football would be the last thing on my mind. Just chill and give the poor man some space to deal with the loss. I know I would.... UTV

Im sure he will stay, he was brilliant last year for us. I'd be happy to swap Beye and Shorey for Turner and Dawson. (im joking about shorey, although he was crap against Wigan, i usually like him)

And there speaks the voice of reason yet again. Only lerneravfc has the knowledge and insight to tell us how to act and think... and in such an elegant way. Glad things at our Club are so great and the last 6 months of results have given us all joy, but I suppose that is the fans fault as always!

lerneravfc when a bbc radio station mentions something like this and when their official site has a profile of our player, I think it is fair to discuss it. This site and all the other sites are for debate, footie talk etc and during a transfer window the talk is going to focus on the footie gossip. To be fair we do our best to present it as exactly that and often say on the pitch in the shirt before you can believe it, I say above only true when on the official sites... when times are good people celebrate, when bad they moan, same as it has always been, you win you go home happy, you lose you go home peed off.
