More Monny Praise For Milly

Martin O'Neill has continued to praise James Milner for his England performance and has revealed he's just as committed in training.

The manager described the 'move' that led to England's second goal as a piece of 'typical James'. Being brave and sticking his head in where it could hurt to ensure he gains the ball.

'He would not flinch from the move that led to the second goal. I'm hoping it will be a big year for him.'

Monny also thinks that Milly's workrate and club form will more than keep him in Fabio Capello's plans as the England manager gears up for the World Cup.

'He has great enthusiasm for the game, drives into the 5 a sides the same way he does the games....there are no half hearted measures with him.'

O'Neill continues to state that during training Milner is one player who needs to be reminded to take it a bit easier, slow down a little, and remember it's simply training.

Being perfectly honest I'm not surprised one bit by that, one thing you can guarantee from Milly is he gives 100% all the time, especially when things aren't going to plan, he doesn't hide he runs harder.

I think 2moro's result will have an affect on our purchases. Ie if delph plays and plays well or sidders/reo. then we probs wont go for a midfielder etc. or if we concede a few then we may get a cb quicker etc.

Sir James, you mate are a star and an example to everyone, if all players had your heart football would be all the better for it. Combined with your skill, intelligence and ambition you will become very quickly a legend at this great club.
