Lawro Says Villa Win + Feario Podcast With Wigan

Here we go again, season about to start and gulp.... Mark Lawrenson being positive about Villa!

He predicts, on the BBC website, a 2-0 win for Villa v Wigan.

The pundit says the losses of Barry and Laursen are 'significant' but adds MON is 'shrewd' saying although Delph might not feature for this game, he will be a big star.

'New Wigan manager Roberto Martinez is still moulding his team. He has lost a few big-impact players, the likes of Wilson Palacios, Antonio Valencia and Lee Cattermole, as well as strikers Mido and Amr Zaki and I think Villa will be too strong.'

Verdict: 2-0
