Right we can see that 2 new defenders will come in at number 5 and 25, 9 will change when Harewood goes and will go to either sumone like snijder or tuncay or who ever we sign

What's happened to Stephen O'Halloran? The poor kid has been unlucky with injuries and I know his contract expired this summer (as did Salifou's) but no news about him from anywhere...???

Oh how I wish Beye took number 25 and leave 23 for Sneijder!!! Im sure he would be happy with 5 - to quote David Bentley "If its good enough for Zidane...." Daily Mail have us favourites for him - dont know how they know but they say we want to knock 5m off asking price of 20m. In my opinion we should offer 20m and give the guy what he wants. It would be a bigger statement than ANY club has made this summer and would be the greatest signing in our history!! Keep going to avfc.co.uk to see "WEBFLASH: Sneijder signs!"

Oh and I used to love my replica shirts with the number 9 on them - Saunders, Angel and Dublin! Wish we had a cracker to wear it this season!! Maybe even move JC to it!

I have noticed a tendency over the years for star players to have prime numbers on their backs. Might we be thinking of 'retiring' the number 5, as happens often in America?

Prime numbers eh? So that leaves 5, 13, 29, 31 and 37 available. Does that mean that we have five star signings to come?

we are missing 5, 13, 25 and 28 to 41. So we are going to sign 17 new players! Well, at least 5, 13 and 28 should be filled. Or do we never have a number 13? Unlucky for some!
