'If It's Football, It's Vital'

It Was Delphinitely The Right Move

James Milner has said Fabian Delph and Habib Beye have both made the rights moves to B6, and they are more than good enough to be hugely successful here.

Speaking on the official site specifically about a fellow Yorkshireman, he says Delph has fantastic abilities and that there is no greater club he could be at in order to continue his development.

'It's a great club to be at with the players we have, the experienced players, the staff and the set up - there are not too many better clubs he can be at where he's going to learn and become a better player quickly.

'It's a great place for him to come and we're delighted to have him.'

Most may have also forgotten, it certainly had passed me by, but Milly was briefly a team mate of fellow new signing (Monday, Tuesday) Habib Beye and Milly feels he has the right character and attitude to slot straight into thw squad, not just on the pitch but also off the pitch.

'He's a good lad as well and another player with a good attitude.

'That's important - it's obviously one thing being a good player on the field but sometimes it can throw the team spirit if players find it hard to gel.'

Milly has most likely been made the nanny of the two new lads, Yorkshire connections for Delph and previous Newkie knowledge for Beye so I'm sure both will slot straight in and make themselves at home sooner rather than later as we gear up for the big season kick off.
