Would Tuncay Be A Good Addition + Poll Results

Vital Villa asked over the weekend:

How confident are you of the new season?

75% are holding out for a few more signings, then they will be more confident.

13% were very confident of top four or silverware.

6% said their confidence is at an average level!

4% weren't very confident at all and just 2% were very very worried.

Pretty obvious to all I think, that we have to get at least five more players in by the end of the transfer window to make sure we can compete on all levels?

Our latest poll, following another link to the Boro player and Turkey captain, asks whether Tuncay would be a good signing. Boro Striker Fee Agreed? + Other Transfer Talk

Vital Boro's ed said briefly in an email exchange earlier: 'Yeah Tuncay is a great ball player, which will suit your style of play.'

I personally think that Tuncay would be a superb signing, and is a player that Martin O'Neill should have very serious intentions of bringing to Villa Park. I mentioned many times on the forum during the summer of 2008 that he was a player that we should be looking at, suggesting that his smooth talents were completely wasted at The Riverside, and that he would be a revelation if surrounded by the sort of talent that we had/have here at Brummagem B6. He would without a doubt, offer the type of options and alternatives that we currently dont have open to us, and feeding off the likes of Big John or arguably even bigger Emile, he would increase his goal tally considerably. At The Riverside pre-game last May, we were sharing drinks and conversation with three Boro fans, all were completely in unison when they put forward his name as far and away their best player over the past two seasons. One commented that he was very much deserving of a bigger stage, and all were definitely resigned to losing him this summer.

Tuncay, Distin, Wheater, Sneijder. Sort it out, MON, and I will make only the sweetest love to you. Can't Tuncay play up front, as well?
