Aston Villa have confirmed the signing of 19-year-old Fabian Delph from Leeds United for an undisclosed fee.

That's got to be the worst headline I've ever seen!!lol
Good luck to Fab, I hope he suceeds at Villa. He's joined a club that like to introduce young players to the first team and a vast majority are English.

Can`t wait to see our Fab perform in the Premiership on Sky on a regular basis. The sky`s the limit for this lad. And thank god he`s gone to a club which champions young talent. Good luck to him!

What a breath of fresh air this transfer has been. Both clubs come out of it with honour intact, both sets of fans have commented sensibly. Leeds United are now my official League One team, but not for long I hope, they will soon be my Championship team. And then... well AVFC will always be number one. Yes, the headline is simply awful - what are you on Mr Fear? And can I have two please?

Great news, this. Two really good, positive signings who will go a long way to addressing our slight lack of creative spark. A tough as nails defender, somebody to really put pressure on Cuellar and Davis, and we will have gone a long way towards not just replacing Laursen and Barry, but perhaps making a step up. I feel a bit sorry for people like Astonian Villan, who, in the light of signing the most consistant attacking player outside the top 4 over the last 3 years, then signing the most exciting young prospect in the country, still come out with this pessimistict rubbish.

Hopefully a centre back this week, still the area that concerns me most, Delph and Downing are the right time of singings for our club. We need a Centre Back, and if O'Neill has any sense a forward too, Gabby and Heskey don't score enough for me and Carew is likely to get injured at some point.

Lorenzo - no need to feel sorry for me mate for one Downing is class but no good in the stands and you should really watch Delph week in week out like me before calling him the most exciting prospect in the country playing 40 mins a game aint that good

u guys have got a little gem here, and u know when hes 24-25 he might be in the magic 30 mill bracket. saw hiom 6 since last year and hes something special.glad he joined villa with good fans and good manager who is not scared to play the youngsters. good luck on cracking the top 4. love leeds

I must say I am pleasantly surprised at how nice the Leeds fans have been towards our club, being from Yorkshire I always found them to be quite arrogant, but since their Premier League days I haven't heard much from them, but thanks to the comments above my opinion has improved drastically. Thanks very much Leeds fans. Good Luck to you in the upcoming campaign.

iv been living in Leeds for almost 2 years now and in all honesty iv only come across one idiot Leeds Utd fan every one else are top dollar in my honest opinion, plus their are lots of villa fans up here woohoo

I've never considered our fans arrogant. I think whenever you live a city full of fans of another club, you'll be an easy target and probably grow to dislike them, but most Leeds fans are pretty well grounded and easy to get on with. We're just misunderstood. Good look to Delph.
