Moustapha Salifou's Villa Status Clarification
There seems to have been a fair amount of confusion as to the situation with Villa midfielder Moustapha Salifou and his contract.
I have had confirmation from the Villa press office that he travelled with the club to Spain for the Peace Cup and that he is contracted until 2011.

So why didn't he play? He is the most pointless player on the club's books. At 26 he isnt going to get any better and he pants now, get rid of him and lets the younger lads have a go at sitting on the bench

but i thought he was the african Zidane?? lol to be honest MON hasnt given him a chance, which just shows that he doestn rate him. either that or he doesnt pull his wait in training so doesnt deserve the chance.

Bossed a lot of the reserve games, the only first team chances he got are when O'Neill makes 7 changes for Uefa cup and he was asked to sit in like Petrov, didnt look comfortable, think he would prefer to be more attacking. O'Neill should of given him a couple of games in a strong 11 to see if he's up to scratch.

I think I read he was in hospital in Spain with suspected malaria. I also think he should be given a couple of games in a stronger team, in a more attacking position, and if he is really no good, which nobody really knows. Get rid of him! Maybe SmallHeath would like him!
