MON on the clash: 'On the way back from our game with Porto, we were able to watch the other semi-final - mainly the second half obviously. I thought Juventus did very well although Real Madrid were probably the team most neutrals wanted in the final. However, Juventus are an excellent side - regulars in the Champions League - and I think this is going to be just a fantastic experience for all of us, never mind the youngsters. As the competition has gone on, we've got mentally stronger. That's been fantastic.'

I think these are old quotes but I could be wrong. Leeds boss Simon Grayson says they have had two bids for Fabian Delph, one thought to be Villa, both falling short of their valuation. He said on Sky Sports News: 'We've had two bids from Premier League clubs over two weeks ago that we turned down. They were nowhere near the target of the realistic aim that we are looking to receive, but I know that could change at any time. That's football for you. As long as he's contracted to us he'll show and perform like he has done all over pre-season, but obviously we're aware anything could happen as well.'

Talk on Curtis Davies seems mixed, some of the press are today claiming if he can't get over the niggling shoulder injury he might have to have surgery that would put him out for two months. Luckily as we resisted temptation to sell Gary Cahill and Zat Knight, we have plenty of cover... Phew what a relief. Other bits suggest he'll not be having surgery just yet and might be fit for tonight v Juventus: Cool On Curtis
