Heskey Has No Long Lasting Problems

Emile Heskey staggered off in tonight's match against Malaga after sustaining a concussion, but he should be fit for our next match against Atlante....rejoice.

Heskey was replaced by Albrighton after only 7 minutes of our first Peace Cup match.

How peaceful can it be when a player gets concussion? Furthermore the official site desribes him as a 'fearless forward', I however won't.

Monny however informs us that the 'Hesk' (copyright me) is feeling much better and will need assessment during the week, but the bang on his nut isn't that serious.

'Emile is feeling a lot better. He was a bit disorientated and we felt that, having come back late and only playing a few minutes of the game, it was best just to take him off and make a substitution at that time.

'But he is feeling much better now. We will have to monitor it each day but I don't think he would be ruled out at this stage.'

Good job really, how else can we rely on to score?

Maybe its MON's super secret plan... Convert Heskey to defense. Cause he sure as hell isn't a striker!

"He was a bit disorientated" - pretty much like every other game he's played for us then!

Quote from MON on Heskey's knock, " he will need assessment during the week." I will save you the time MON, here is his assessment. He can't score, can't find space, finds it difficult to link up with his midfield, holds the ball up at the wrong times, can't cross and cant shoot. In short MON, you have managed to find a striker worse than Darren Bent. That takes some doing.
