Villa Peace Out In Spain

Martin O'Neill has spoken ahead of the Peace Cup Villa compete in this week in Spain.

Villa play Malaga on Saturday and Atlante (Mexico) next week (Wed, July 29).

Villa could potentially face Read Madrid if they progress.

The Villa boss told the official site:

'The incentives are there for us because it is competitive and it's a build up to the Premier League which eventually is what it's all about. It's competitive stuff because you've got the possibility of getting into the semi-final and the final. All of those things are ahead of us.'

He also says Villa will check out the fitness of the international players and then consider which can feature during the tournament.

The home kit will also be revealed today in Spain.

Strange that Bouma and Luke Young are in the squad? What is the latest on Luke Young? Why didn't he play in any of our other 2 friendlies? Not too bothered about seeing the new kit, would rather see a new transfer or 5 being unveiled in it!

I'm a tad miffed that this aint on TV to say the least. Sure it can be watched on the net but life is so much easier when it's on telly!
