Fans questions with Luke Young on the official site: www.avfc.co.uk I reckon our question 'which celebrity would you most like to bang is still the best!' :o)

Claret and Blue mag is now out: www.avfc.co.uk

Mike Field: Luke Young is desperate for Villa to deliver the fans top class performances next season, because he understands what it means to us. Our flexible friend says 'football is religion' and it's hard to disagree when you think about how mental we all become for 90 minutes, and the likes of us lot spend the next week disagreeing over the tiniest of errors. Another Mike Field snippet from earlier in the week, Nicky Shorey believes Villa are all set in attack for next season with Gabby, Heskey and the Hulk. Speaking on the official site, who didn't use such an awful title, Shorey said that the pace and power of our front trio will be key to our success next season as we continues out efforts at growth. More importantly for Shorey, he believes it's a massive test for all the defenders at the club to play against them in training, as it improves their own game. Interesting to read the comments by a certain Steve Hodge, comments directed at our very own James Milner. Now as we all know, Hodge is far from everyone's favourite Villan, but I guess in this instance he is actually talking sense. I'm expecting and hoping for a BIG season ahead for James, who yes, I unashamedly admit, is probably my current favourite player (I feel like a star-struck teenager again). If he could improve on his goalscoring ratio, and hopefully what with the new arrivals (ha!!), we'll be creating plenty of opportunities in the upcoming campaign, then we'll have the complete player on our hands. Go get 'em Milly!
