Villa's Live Sky Dates Announced - 4 Matches

Sky Sports have announced their live tv coverage dates up to the end of November.

I'm meant to be careful of announcing fixtures, as it could bring down the very walls of football if these sites don't pay a license fee (£250+ vat) to the people running the game to show fixtures (yes, fixtures, the adverts for the games we all pay our money to go and watch!)

Lets see how we get on with this!

Both of our local away derbies are on tv:

As you would expect, the Blues v Villa has been moved to the Sunday, it would have been anyway on Police advice. The kick off is 12 noon on the 13th of September!

They are also showing Wolves away (unless you are a Wolves fan, then they are showing Wolves at home!) That remains on the Saturday but now with a 12:45pm kick off.

We have the Fulham home game at the end of August moved to the Sunday.

Villa v Chelsea will now kick off at 12:45pm on some Sunday in a month beginning with O.

And at the moment, nothing is slated in for November.

How you are meant to inform fans and spread the word and lets face it, advertise for the clubs, Sky and football as a whole, with two hands tied behind your back is beyond me... Hey ho!

like it when away games are screened, I don't get to too many of those... hate it when home games are moved to a Sunday though! Selfish eh!?

I work Sundays and have Saturdays free so I can go to games, but it's looking more likely that we will have more games on a Sunday than a Saturday, bloody typical!
